Sweet potato finger food with vegan sandwich spread



  1. To start, peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into slices 1 cm thick.
  2. Sauté them in a little olive oil, 3 minutes on each side, after turning add one pressed garlic clove and one sprig of thyme. The sweet potatoes should still be firm to the bite. To finish, season with salt, pepper and a pinch of chili flakes.
  3. To serve, cover with some lettuce, and top with a vegan spread of your choice. Garnish the vegan spread liverwurst with some pickle and pomegranate seeds, the vegan spread tomato basil with a slice of cherry tomato, chia seeds and a basil leaf. Conclude with a sweet potato chip.

The fried sweet potato slices can be prepared beforehand and warmed-up in the oven, just before serving.
