Colourful skewers with smoked tofu

Preparation

  1. Remove core and seeds of the chili pepper and finely dice. Peel and press garlic. 
  2. For the marinade, stir together oil, garlic, zest and juice of the lime, agave nectar and diced chili pepper. Season with salt or herbal salt. Place diced Berief organic tofu smoked in a bowl and pour over with the marinade. Cover and let sit in the refrigerator 2-3 hours. Turn the diced tofu occasionally in the marinade, so that they are uniformly marinated.
  3. Wash the bell peppers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Attention: Do not cut the pieces of bell pepper too small, afterwards they must be placed on the skewers!
  4. Take the finished diced, marinated tofu out of the marinade and let the marinade drip off. Decoratively place tofu, button mushrooms, and bell pepper on the skewers and grill all sides on the prepared grill at medium heat for approx. 10 minutes. Brush occasionally with the remaining marinade; when done season with salt and pepper.
